"HUME INDEX" is a shooting game that can be played solo or in cooperative multiplayer mode. Players take on the role of special agents with unique abilities and are sent to an abandoned cosmos where the Hume Index suddenly spikes to abnormal levels. Their mission is to eliminate mutants and investigate the cause. The longer players stay in the abandoned cosmos, the higher the Hume Index becomes, increasing the game's difficulty and random events. In battles, players need to utilize firearms, melee weapons, elemental reactions, and their special skills to fight their way through the abandoned cosmos and uncover the source of the disaster.
Game features:
- Elemental reactions- Firearms can be equipped with four different elemental effects, allowing players to use their imagination to freeze, ionize, or group enemies together before detonating them all at once.
- Diverse weaponry- Players can use weapons from traditional rifles and revolvers to modern weapons like explosive-rounds pistols, laser guns, and nail guns. In addition to firearms, players will also make use of melee weapons like machetes, iron fans, katanas, and chainsaws to carve a path through the swarm of mutants.
- A bloody system with dismemberment, blood splatter, and flying intestines - Players can aim for headshots, dismember limbs, explode enemies into fragments with explosive weapons, or use melee weapons to cut them in half, experiencing scenes of gory combat with blood splatter and visceral dismemberment.
- Career branches and multiplayer cooperation - Currently, there are three different careers for players to choose from - Gunslinger, Samurai, and Robot (more careers will be added in the following development). Each career offers unique skills and functionalities such as clearing hordes, drawing enemy fire, or dealing high single-target burst damage. Only through tight teamwork can players and their teammates survive as the difficulty rises exponentially with time.
- Roguelike system and progressively more challenging maps- By purchasing weapon crates, upgrading skills, employing strategic planning, and a bit of luck, you might just make it to the next map alive. Pay attention to strange vases and boxes in the game; they might serve as keys to access hidden maps!
