Hordeguard: Winds of the North

Hordeguard: Winds of the North is a Viking fantasy action-strategy defense game where tower defense, RTS-style resource management, RPG progression, and action combat collide. Gather resources, fortify your settlement, fight beside your defenses, and survive escalating waves of mythic enemies alone or become a shieldwall in co-op.

Your settlement is the heart of the fight. Gather resources, raise walls, place defenses, upgrade structures, and turn a fragile Viking village into a fortress strong enough to withstand the next attack.



You are not just the commander. You are the final wall. Take up your weapon, hold the line, reinforce weak points, and fight directly alongside your Viking recruits and fortifications when the horde breaks through.



Between waves, survival means risk. Leave the village to discover useful loot, battle roaming enemies, and return with the tools you need before the next assault begins.



Earn XP in battle and choose upgrade cards that change how you survive. Shape your hero, strengthen your defenses, and venture into the next fight. After battle unlock modifiers that can add challenges and difficulty multipliers to truly test your warrior spirit.



Play solo or team up with a friend in local split-screen co-op or Steam Remote Play Together. Choose your roles: One player can gather resources while the other builds, or one can repair while the other fights. But both will need to adapt when the horde arrives.
