About the Game

Hoptale is a Roguelite adventure that blends hopscotch with slot machines. Play as Tuby the rabbit and stand against the awakened god of chaos.

Hop to Save the World

Hopping is Tuby's only weapon. Fight, explore, gather, fish, and solve puzzles — all by hopping from tile to tile.

Combat, Slot Machine Style

In battle, the tiles beneath your feet become a slot machine. Watch the spinning symbols, call your stop at the right moment, and line up the attack tiles to land a lethal blow.

Stack Tiles, Build Your Style

Collect tiles with wildly different effects and combine them into builds that feed off one another — then beat the chaos of the reels at its own game.

Adorable Animals vs. Grotesque Horrors

Our heroes are a troupe of cute little animals — both Tuby and Meowchi are playable. On your journey you'll meet a bird butler whose speeches keep getting longer, and a fox merchant who coughs up gold coins when you rub his belly. You'll also run into a cultist cat that swallows small animals in its embrace, a Lady of Blood who lifts her skirt to lure you closer, a music angel performing a funeral march, and a tall, thin silhouette hiding deep in the forest.
