Environment and Story
“Peritheon Station” was once an important waypoint for the sector, a reliable hub where early colonizers of the area refuelled, researchers transmitted data, and crews rested. A fleet of early-generation, general purpose androids handled the heavy labor and maintenance of the station, keeping things running smoothly.
Its glory days are over. With decommissioning imminent, the company has sent you to Peritheon Station to oversee its final shutdown and ensure a smooth retirement. Led by AD4M, a newer-generation android, the crew continues their work none the wiser. However, it isn’t long before you realize something is deeply wrong. The power starts to cut out, the environmental regulators begin malfunctioning, and the androids start watching you a little too long. Worst of all, in this remote sector, help is too far away.
Gameplay
The androids were built for all purposes, including hard industrial labor. Their strength and durability far surpass human capabilities. You can run or hide from them, but avoid direct confrontation.
Scavenge leftover power sources to charge your utility gauntlet. With enough electricity, you might have just enough power to fend off an attack or temporarily disable an android. This energy also powers your wrist-mounted computer, which is essential for unlocking specific containers and doors.
Determine your Fate
How you choose to approach certain problems will matter. Multiple endings are available to achieve, depending on how you navigate Peritheon Station and deal with its crew.
