About the Game

Embark on an epic journey through the stars with High Frontier 4 All! As the head of a cutting-edge spacefaring company in 2020, your mission is to profit from the exploration and industrialization of our solar system. Each turn, make crucial decisions that will shape your strategy—perform key actions, move your rocket, and advance your company’s technological prowess.

High Frontier 4 All invites you to lead Earth's spacefaring factions in the ultimate race to industrialize the solar system. Bid for cutting-edge space technology patents and launch your rockets into Low Earth Orbit (LEO), where water serves as both currency and fuel. Strategically build and fuel your rockets to explore planets, asteroids, and more. Claim, prospect, and transform distant worlds into industrial hubs by establishing factories that produce vital resources.

Compete against other players over 48 turns (spanning 48 years) to earn victory points by making off-world claims, building factories, and achieving exploration milestones. The more you industrialize, the higher your stock prices soar, pushing you closer to victory!

With each turn representing a year, the game unfolds through Sunspot Cycles, offering diverse strategies and gameplay with multiple modules. Follow a structured, immersive ruleset that ensures no two games are the same. Whether you’re racing for glory or constructing a thriving space empire, High Frontier 4 All offers deep strategy, endless replayability, and the ultimate space exploration experience.

Differences & Missing Features from the board game

Pathfinding:

• While paths may not always be perfect, we are actively working on further enhancements.

Unlimited Structures:

• There is no limit to the number of outposts, claims, colonies, factories, and rockets that a player can have.

Scientific Fuel Calculation:

• Fuel calculation now uses the scientific rocket equation instead of the abstracted board game version.

Astrobiology, Atmospheric, and Submarine Site Features:

• Limited implementation.

First Player Privilege:

• Not available.

Solar Oberth Flyby:

• Treated as a regular hazard.

Lander Hazards:

• Currently functions like regular lander.

Rotating Heavy Radiator Components:

• No way to rotate heavy radiator components to their light side.

• If they should rotate automatically, they will instead be decommissioned.
