Hidden Assault

Hidden Assault is a hybrid of top-down strategy and stealth-action shooter. The game focuses on the pivotal role of modern technology, espionage, and sabotage in contemporary military tactics. In this world, the player is not the "center of the universe," but one of many participants in an active military conflict. Your objective is to support an AI-controlled allied army in defeating the enemy. To achieve this, your squad must carry out specialized missions, sabotage operations, assault actions, and more.

Global Map and Logistics

The Global Map represents the strategic heart of the game. It features settlements controlled by AI-driven allied forces or occupied by the enemy. These settlements autonomously form squads for defense, logistics, and assault operations. The liberation of captured settlements occurs independently of the player, led by specialized AI commanders.

Settlements utilize resources—such as food, water, and other supplies—to mobilize squads. If a settlement lacks the necessary resources to form a unit, it will be left defenseless. Settlements can exchange resources through logistical squads and supply chains. By intercepting enemy logistics and successfully completing missions, the player can deal a devastating blow to the opponent's overall military potential.

Action Missions

I have put extensive effort into making AI enemies truly dangerous—they utilize cover, deploy grenades, and employ tactical navigation to provide a serious challenge, especially for solo players. Typically, you operate as part of a squad of AI teammates whose primary role is to provide maximum support during combat and assist during stealth operations.

I have developed a Command Mode that allows for flexible squad management in the heat of battle, featuring a Command Delay function. This feature is particularly vital for stealth missions, as it allows you to coordinate and eliminate multiple targets simultaneously. Missions are initiated via the global map, where your squad can intervene in ongoing battles between allied and enemy forces to tip the scales of war.

Stealth Missions

The concepts of stealth and the "fog of war" apply to both the strategic global map and individual missions. On the global map, your squad can utilize the terrain for concealed movement. However, should an enemy patrol detect your presence, a battle will be initiated.

The foundation of espionage and sabotage operations lies in the Infiltration mechanic. Successfully embedding an operative into a location grants access to vital intelligence and opens up specialized sabotage missions.

Loadout Customization

Customize your loadout with a wide array of authentic weaponry, tactical gear, and cutting-edge technology. From silenced pistols and assault rifles to advanced drones and combat robots, your arsenal is your greatest asset.
