About the Game

Hero Tactics is a love letter to oldschool tactics rpgs.

Assemble a motley band of heroes and fight through gauntlet of battles to save the land from evil. Level-up your party, unlocking new skills and classes!

Shrunk down for your convenience~

  • Small Numbers: The units have roughly 2 to 5 health points. Your attacks will do 1 to 3 damage. All of the numbers are small enough to be easy to digest.

  • Micro Tactics: Each battle is held in a tiny 6x8 battlefield, letting each combat resolve quickly without a lot of turns wasted on moving into position.

  • Short Story: The campaign is composed of 5 to 8 chapters - you can probably play through the story in a single sitting.

Remastered for Steam

We released this project over half a decade ago as our first debut rpg. Back then, it had a much simpler design, and was missing a lot of quality-of-life features. So it has been long overdue for a remaster! Most notably, we completely overhauled every level to support a wider screen resolution.
