About the Game

Overview

Hello, Cave Monster! is a tactical RPG about conflict resolution. Convince anxious cave creatures that you are intelligent, and they might stop murdering you. Ride a Drillship as deep as you can, until it breaks. Lead an oddball team of bureaucrats and scientists through underground darkness, as they search for exotic knowledge and sensible negotiating partners.

Research the locals and figure out how to understand them

Explore strange new procedurally-generated dungeons and boldly interact with their contents.

Engage in turn-based tactical encounters to communicate your benign intent.

Cave monsters are made violently anxious at the mere sight of your crew. Building mutual understanding is the only way to get them to maybe stop trying to kill you all the time.
