About the Game

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY

This game is brutally difficult. Directional air roll is perhaps the hardest mechanic to learn in gaming. Helicoid gives you a training ladder and an infinite playground to hone your technique, but it is not a casual game.

HELICOID

Fly a spinning car through an endless neon city. Thread a line of glowing orbs, flip through gaps in oncoming laser walls, or race with friends. Air rolling has always been one mechanic buried inside car soccer. This is a whole game built on it.

The flight and controls are tuned to feel like a Rocket League aerial, so the hours you spend chasing a high score double as real practice.

WHO IT'S FOR

Can't air roll yet? This is a friendlier place to start, though the curve is still steep.

Already proficient? It's an endless score-chase that keeps your car control sharp.

PLAY WITH FRIENDS

Play together in private lobbies through a Steam invite or a shared code. Race down the orbline, survive waves of laser walls, and more.

WHAT'S INSIDE

  • Orb Chase - a procedural city runner scored on a combo system, with online leaderboards.

  • Shape Shift - rotate your car to fit the gap in each oncoming laser wall, with online leaderboards.

  • Multiplayer - racing, tag, and more. 5 modes to enjoy in private lobbies with friends.

  • Practice ladder - scored, repeatable exercises from your first roll to advanced air control.

  • Flight tuned to feel like a Rocket League aerial, so the muscle memory carries over.

  • Fully rebindable, controller-first. Keyboard and mouse supported but lightly tested.
