About the Game

Heavy Burden VR is an atmospheric first-person VR platformer focused on precision and overcoming difficult trials. You carry a heavy stone through the ruins of an ancient world, face collapsing platforms, avoid flying obstacles, and endure the philosophical challenges of absurd existence. A single-player game centered on skill, exploration, and meditative tension.

Story
You are a nameless hero who awakens among ruins where eternity has frozen in stone and marble. Your goal is to bring the stone to the burning brazier. But why? Who gave you this task, and what will change if you succeed?

On your journey, you encounter symbols and voices that represent two opposing perspectives: traditional religious faith and the philosophy of the absurd, where meaning is not given but chosen. The question is not what awaits at the end of the path — but why walk it at all.

Gameplay
Each level is a trial: carry the stone from start to brazier. The stone is heavy: it slows you down, limits your jumps, and demands focus and effort.

Gameplay combines:

  • VR immersion. Feel the weight and control the stone with your hands and body.

  • Platforming puzzles. Precise jumps, balancing, and careful landings on dangerous ground.

  • Dynamic challenges. Collapsing platforms and flying obstacles break your rhythm and demand quick reactions.

  • Interactive ruins. Use columns, ledges, and fragments of the ancient world as supports, levers, and cover.

Features
• Immersive VR controls: weight, physics, and tactility through gestures and body movement.
• Ancient atmosphere: low-poly style, detailed ruins, intimate locations.
• Philosophical depth: inspired by Camus, contrasting absurdism and traditional faith.
• Multiple endings: outcomes depend on your path and decisions.
• Challenging platforming: heavy burden, collapsing platforms, and airborne threats.
• Audio design: music and soundscape intensify solitude and struggle.
