About the Game

After a hard day escaping dungeons and facing dragons, there’s nothing like returning to town and getting hammered while playing cards at your favorite tavern. Become a tavern legend by mastering the art of drinking, and stay on your feet each round in this addictive, high-proof, high-fun card game!

Based on the classic game of Hearts, Heartsdrunk is a roguelike card game that combines trick-taking mechanics with special magical drink cards you can acquire at the taverns you visit each round. Enhance your boozy talents with a skill tree that evolves with each run as you gain XP. In the end, the goal is to stay sober by the end of the match—because for each heart card collected, you lose health points and get progressively drunk, affecting your gameplay until your HP reaches zero (and you’re dragged out of the tavern), ending your run. The player with the most life points remaining at the end of the game will be crowned the true champion of Heartsdrunk!
