About the Game

Heartfall is a competitive online multiplayer Hearts card game for four players.

The classic rules are all here, but with five unique game modes. Each hand is a different game mode.

The Five Modes:

- Standard: Classic Hearts. Avoid hearts and the Queen of Spades. First to 50 points loses.

- Omnibus: Standard rules, but the Jack of Diamonds is worth -10 points.

- Spread the Love: Instead of passing three cards in one direction, players pass one card left, one right, and one across.

- All Inclusive: Players who take zero points at the end of a hand are penalized 13 points.

- Power of Love: Hearts become the dominant suit. The highest heart played always wins the trick, regardless of lead suite.

Features:

- 4-player online multiplayer

- Ranked and Casual matchmaking, based on skill level (rank up faster by winning more by a high margin of points)

- Five rotating game modes that change every hand

- Steam authentication required to play online (cross play to be added later)

- Gamepad support (Playstation tested, other controllers are untested but should work and will be tested later)
