About the Game

Heart of Machine commands billions of mechanical troops. Now it wants to devour your consciousness and take control of everything you are. All you have left to rely on are automated turrets...

Heart of Machine is a 2D game that blends unconventional tower defense with roguelite elements. Before the enemy arrives, buy Towers and upgrade Chips from the Shop, then build specialized positions around the directions of attack to withstand the charge of hundreds of mechanical swarm enemies.

Note: The Core's HP does not fully recover at the end of each Wave!

Face endless enemies that keep growing stronger

Survive the onslaught long enough (or wipe out every enemy). As the Waves advance, elite units appear and attacks come from more and more directions. Your position will also be challenged by several powerful mechanical swarm bosses, each with special abilities.

A massive arsenal and highly customizable Towers

70+ unique defensive structures, 100+ upgrade Chips, and 90+ Relics with global bonuses make every run unpredictable and fun.

Note: Loading one Tower with high-rank Chips is certainly powerful, but a single Tower can cover only so much ground. Commit too many resources to one direction and the others may collapse.

Omnidirectional attacks and a dynamic front line

Ferocious enemies do not follow fixed paths; they attack and destroy everything in their way. Fortunately, (almost) every Tower can rebuild itself. After a short delay, fallen Towers revive and restore your defenses. A cascading collapse is not necessarily the end!

Deploy Support weapons in real time to reverse a failing front

There are also 50+ Support items with different functions. Activating them costs Energy, but they can give a battered defense room to breathe. Two identical Supports of the same rank can be combined into an upgrade. Higher-rank Supports offer stronger effects—or even entirely different mechanics.

Dozens of Cores, each enabling a distinct class-like playstyle

Different Cores change far more than stats. They lead to entirely different approaches to building a position, and can even radically transform the experience: make enemies gigantic, turn the destruction of your own Towers into your main source of damage, or delay the enemy advance by any means necessary.

Detailed run records with complete battlefield-state saves (plus a future Endless Mode and replayable saves)
