Each game feels fresh, thanks to randomized enemy behaviors, supernatural debuffs, and maps that keep you guessing.

The spirits in Hauntrick are anything but ordinary. Each one behaves differently—some are goofy, some are unpredictable, and others have their own strange ways of interfering with the ritual. You never know what they'll do next, making every encounter unexpected and full of chaos.
EVERY RUN IS DIFFERENT
Each session in Hauntrick throws new surprises your way. Procedurally generated maps, randomized cursed objects, and a rotating cast of unique spirits make sure no two runs feel the same. Adapt fast, or get tricked into an early grave.
PERFORM THE RITUAL, BANISH THE CURSE
Your goal is simple: find the cursed objects scattered around the map and place them in the ritual circle. However, with spirits lurking around every corner, working quickly and efficiently is key—hesitation will only make things harder.
BUY, SURVIVE, REPEAT
In Hauntrick, collecting coins isn’t just for show—it’s your key to survival. Use your earnings to buy powerful items from the shop, giving you a fighting chance against the unpredictable hauntings. Use the spell, English or Spanish, to freeze spirits in place, turn invisible with a special pill, teleport out of danger, or even arm yourself with a gun. Whether you choose to escape, outsmart, or fight back, the shop ensures that every run offers new strategies to survive the madness.
CHAOTIC DEBUFFS: EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
Want to make things even crazier? Enable the Debuff Setting and suffer through randomized effects that change how you play. Lose the ability to jump. Get your controls reversed. Drop items uncontrollably. Or get hit with a surprise game of Red Light, Green Light.
