About the Game

Hardtrace is a couch vs. couch party game for up to 12 players (14 online) that combines refined Tron-like gameplay with portals. The top-down view makes the battles between players clear, but also chaotic.

You play for the highest score in nine-minute matches, controlling a vehicle called a "Tracer" that leaves a broken and deadly trail behind it. Victory depends solely on your skills, observation, and strategy. Thanks to these, you can cut up your teammates, collect their unsaved points, and disappear before someone does the same to you.

How is this different from the classic snake? In Hardtrace, it's no problem to get to the other side of the playing field in a fraction of a second. Portals, speed, and chaos change everything. The usual rules don't apply here.

Enjoy Hardtrace.

Special risk and reward zones: Two difficulty levels that require more precise control and a more thoughtful approach.

Advanced mechanics: Players can discover more effective ways to use portals and movement if they want to explore the system in depth.

Up to 12 players locally: Support for 8 gamepads and n-key rollover keyboards allows for various local match configurations.

Hybrid "Couch vs. Couch" multiplayer: Multiple groups of players can link their local sessions into a single match, for up to 15 players total.

PvP and co-op: Play against each other or together — online, locally, or over LAN.

Dynamic play area: The map size adapts to the number of players.

Infinite space: The map has no edges, opening up additional strategic possibilities.

Minimalist graphics: The clean visual style promotes clarity even with a larger number of players.

Nine-minute matches with point saving: Players compete for points, which can fall out of their hands. After 10 seconds without collecting any more points, their current score will gradually start to be saved.

The game is constantly being improved and currently in rapid development, which means you can look forward to new features and improvements.
