Hard Truck 2: King of the Road is a 2000 open-world trucking game, part of one of the early series that helped shape the genre. Deliver cargo, compete with rival drivers, and build your own transport empire.

Start with almost nothing and work your way up — take contracts, deliver cargo across a network of highways and backroads, and earn enough to build your own trucking company. Your ultimate goal is not just to survive, but to dominate the market.

The world is open and continuous, allowing you to freely travel between cities, explore alternative routes, and discover hidden roads that can give you an edge over competitors.

You are not alone on the road. Rival drivers compete for the same contracts, traffic fills the highways, and both police and bandits add constant tension. Break the rules, and you may face fines or full chases. Take the wrong road, and you might run into something far worse.

Manage your finances, expand your fleet, and hire drivers to grow your business. Success depends not only on driving skill, but also on planning, risk-taking, and knowing when to push forward.

When you're not on the job, race other rig-masters in time trails, obstacle courses, and one-on-one track racing. This is no wimpy race car sim! So, hop into your cab, fire up your engine and put the pedal to the metal! The open road is calling you.
