About the Game



Han’yo is a 2d side scrolling combat game that tells the story of Hiroko, a young samurai girl from ancient Japan. After witnessing her village being destroyed and slaughtered by the Oni, Hiroko has only one goal: revenge. Join her on a journey to find the Oni and avenge her people.

Han'yo is a project developed by Hangover Studios, a team of 2nd Year students at DigiPen Institute of Technology Europe - Bilbao in a 9-month development cycle from the ground up using C++ to develop their engine and game.
