HACKERGAME is a 2D terminal-based arcade hacking game currently in development. There are not many details to uncover for now but we still got some info:

Graphics
General UI is inspired by the Kali Linux and in the HACKERGAME universe, it's called Strap OS. It overall looks like the Kali.

Gameplay
You will mostly be using your terminal to hack into your targets. There is a web browser to access the surface web and an onion browser for the dark web. Throughout the game, you will encounter various hacker forums both on the surface web and the dark web. You will receive your tasks through these sites, and from time to time, story progress will again take place through these sites.

Story
The story is about you, the player, attacking corporations, taking down websites, stealing valuable data and much much more. With each attack, you push boundaries, chase conspiracies, make friends and enemies, and, of course, break almost every computer-related law along the way. Though there are not only malicious people in the world. While the cyberwar carries on, the network intelligence agencies over the world investigate the attacks. When experiencing the story, you will both encounter and interact with these sides, hacker groups and the intelligence agencies.
Keep in mind that these are still work-in-progress ideas and developments. Anything is subject to change, for good.
