About the Game

The Depths Of My Guilt is a short underwater/submarine horror game where the monster can hear your mic!

Story:

You play as a scientist named Dr. Mared. You are tasked with surveying a small portion of a newly discovered ocean hidden beneath the Earth's crust. You will be piloting a rusty, small, and cramped submarine through which you will conduct your research.

Once you get down there, you soon realize that you're not the only intelligent creature in the depths. Will you uncover your the ocean's secrets before they uncover you?

Gameplay:

Piloting the Submarine:

Take control of your rusty research vessel using the navigation console and map. Adjust your speed with the lever and steer using the wheel. Every movement counts — and every sound could be your last.

Your mission:

You've been sent into a newly discovered ocean beneath the Earth's crust. Your task: gather a photo and audio sample from each of the marked zones. Use the onboard camera and mic console to complete your objectives. Find out what happened to those sent before you — but tread carefully..

Surviving:

You’re not alone.

Something else lurks in the dark — and it can hear you.

It is blind, but hyper-aware of sound.

When it draws near, shut off all power and stay completely silent — it can even hear your mic.

Remain quiet... and it will pass.

Fuel:

Your vessel needs fuel. Thankfully, Coal ore can be found in the environment and can be used as fuel. You’ll have to leave the vessel to collect them, though. They are found in caves.

Caves:

These waters are home to an intricate system of underwater caves and tunnels. The previous "explorers" would rest in the air pockets found in here, you will be able to find useful stuff in there.

Biomes:

Explore three deadly deep-sea biomes — The Volcanic Void, Deadwater Abyss, and The Icebound Chasm — each filled with unique dangers and secrets.
