6 itemsAbout the Game
You come back from a journey far away to return to your guild old, abandoned, and forgotten. Its members have left, its grounds deserted. It has no one, but it doesn't have to be so.
GUILDMAKER puts you in the role of a guildmaster responsible for restoring an old guild to its former glory.
Features
Control the big picture. In GUILDMAKER, you are not responsible for a single, individual unit, but a whole legion of autonomous adventurers that make decisions based on what they think is the best for them.
Recruit, equip, and train mighty warriors, rogues, and mages as they take on player-issued quests, such as slaying monsters from around the game world, collecting expensive bounties, or even harassing certain factions on the road! Assign your members vocations to define their roles within the guild. For example, armourers will craft you armour, while warriors keep your guild safe.
Build your adventurers a place to call home. Your patrons need a place to train, eat, sleep, socialize, get quests, buy, sell, recruit parties, and many more! Make sure your guild is equipped with the right amenities and services to keep them coming back.
Make allies and enemies as your guild navigates relations with other NPC guilds in the world. Befriend the Guild of Gourmets to regularly receive mastercrafted delicacies from them, or the Warrior Guild to receive allies in times of need. However, befriending other factions may estrange you from others, such as allying with common bandits. So be careful – you cannot please everyone.
Your adventurers are unique. They are procedurally generated with their unique combination of talents and personalities. There is only ever one of each of them, and death is permanent. Losing an adventurer means losing them forever. As the guildmaster, you are responsible for your guild’s and its constituents’ continued success and survival.
