Once the world was buzzing with magic, but the advance of technology, driven by human greed, disrupted the harmony. Parts of the magic became corrupted spawning shadow creatures that destroyed almost the entire natural world.
You play as Sprig, a clumsy scarecrow who has just been brought to life by magic. Armed with the staff of your creator and accompanied by a quippy crow, you are on a mission to restore the balance of nature.
Growing Wild is an accessible third-person tower defense game that requires no prior experience in the genre. It has a gentle difficulty curve and can be enjoyed at your own pace or with a friend. This game combines classic tower defense action and light strategy with exploration and a cozy game feel.
Restore nature
Level by level, free the world from corruption. Each level begins at the Magic Core, which is still untouched by decay. Expand your territory by growing magical renewshrooms and activating runestones to restore and stabilize large areas of nature. Everything tainted by corruption remains hidden until reclaimed, revealing ancient ruins, cute little creatures, new spells and unique plants.
Grow plants as defense
Prepare yourself against nightly waves of shadowy creatures coming for your Magic Core to corrupt the area. Savor the calm before the storm and take your time during the day to place magical plants for your defense. Each plant offers its own special attacks and abilities, allowing for strategic placement as you prepare for nightfall. Support your plants with powerful spells to turn the tide in battle. Only by fully restoring each area will you truly stop the corruption and let nature flourish again.
Team up with a friend
Experience the adventure solo or team up with a friend in online co-op mode. Combine your strengths and work together to defend against corruption and explore the game's magical world. Coordinate your strategies, share resources and discover secrets as you restore the world side by side.
