About the Game

Trapped in a Necromancer's Grimoire, can you find your memories and escape before losing your mind?

Grimoire Limbo is a turn-based horror roguelite set in beautifully crafted, etched-ink environments. 2D sprites interact with the 3D-world like drawings in a book. Every encounter wears on your sanity. Recover a lost memory, and you pull back from the edge. Die, and you slide closer to it.

You can only keep what you can carry - two weapons and two utility items. Every use damages the item a little more until it breaks. Keep the trusted weapon that's almost spent and risk it failing mid-fight, or replace it with one that might not be as powerful but will last a little longer.

  • Turn-based combat

  • An etched-ink world where 2D figures move through the 3D world

  • Scarcity-driven load-out management

  • Constant Sanity pressure. Recover lost memories to hold back the dark. See the world change as Sanity slides.
