Green Again is a feel-good blend between a farming game and a colony simulation game. Set out in a colorful, hand-drawn sci-fi world inhabited by tiny plant people called Sproutlings. After the previous inhabitants of the planet created a terraforming AI and caused an ecological catastrophe, most of the planet is now barren and overrun with malfunctioning robots.
Protect this brave civilisation as they overcome their environment and restore the planet to its former green state!
Build and Defend
Construct settlements by terraforming the ground, farming a variety of crops, and defending your farms from stray bots. Unlock better technology and plant the right seeds to perfect your crop rotation and thrive in all kinds of weather. Decorate your colony to make your people happy, and build a variety of turrets to keep them safe from rogue robots. Finally, unlock creative mode and build a colony without limits!
Explore and Transform
Discover procedurally generated maps covered by fog, just waiting for your sproutlings to inhabit. Reveal the hidden areas to find new decorations, capturable buildings, resources, and more ground for building and planting. But be careful! You might stumble upon a nest of rampaging robots that could be more than you can handle…
Restore the Environment
Use powerful terraforming technology to break through the concrete and metal, and reveal the nature beneath. Send your specialised Sproutling team to clear rubble and industrial debris, turning the wasteland into lush and green terrain to heal your wounded world.
Manage your People
Stay on top of the Sproutlings’ needs by keeping them well fed, but watch out for random events! Between swarms of nano-bots, blizzards, wildfires and more, it takes a lot to keep the Sproutlings safe and happy! Tactically place farms, decor and other buildings while researching more advanced technologies and upgrades to make their life’s work not just important, but enjoyable.
