About the Game

Few people are equipped with the two traits needed to be a detective in GRAYWOOD: the sharpness of a tack to uncover the truth, and the stomach to handle what you find.
You are the lead detective tasked with the most testing and heinous crimes. Get to the bottom of each crime by scrutinizing every detail: the suspects, alibis, motives, methods, and evidence to make your own connections with nothing but your wit and a bit of red string.

KEY FEATURES:

Unforgiving Case Outcomes:

GRAYWOOD lets you get things wrong instead of waiting for you to click the right answer.

Law vs. Morality:

Choose to serve justice, or follow the law. In GRAYWOOD, those are two very different things.

Your Choices Have Consequences:

Uncover a morally-testing narrative with twists and turns determined by your chosen case outcomes, leading you to multiple different endings.

No Hand Holding:

Craft your own questions to interrogate suspects by typing what you want to ask. No multiple choice answers. Sift through oceans of red herrings and make your own deductions to determine what really matters.

The Crazy Wall:

Organize your thoughts, review testimonies, analyze evidence, and build your case using some cork, red string, and a mixture of documents, polaroids, and notes.

Not Just a Murder Mystery:

Investigate hit & run, arson, manslaughter, bank robbery, hate crime, kidnapping, missing person, hostage, framing, theft, break & enter, and escaped convict cases in addition to murders.
