Drop blocks that shatter into gravel particles! Connect same-colored areas across the full board width to clear them and score big. Chain reactions and combos reward strategic thinking in this retro arcade puzzler. Play solo across three distinct modes, or team up with a friend in local co-op and versus.
The blocks don't just stack — they crumble.
In Gravelix, every falling block shatters into individual gravel particles the moment it lands. These particles tumble, slide, and settle into unpredictable formations, transforming the classic block-dropping formula into something entirely new.
Your goal: connect areas of the same color stretching from the left edge to the right edge of the board. When a color forms a continuous path across the full width, the connected particles explode and earn you points. The more connections you trigger, the higher your combo will be.
Gravel Physics Changes Everything
Unlike traditional puzzlers where blocks sit neatly in rows, Gravelix's particle system means every placement creates a unique landscape. Particles fill gaps, create slopes, and form unexpected connections. You'll need to think about how gravity affects individual particles — not just whole blocks.
Game Modes
Single Player
Classic – the endless arcade experience. Face escalating difficulty as you chase the high score. The speed increases, the pressure builds, and every decision counts.
Time Attack – score as high as you can in 3 minutes.
Zen – no speed progression, no game over. If the board fills up, a rescue explosion clears the most common color so you can keep playing at your own pace.
Two Player Split-Screen
Versus – go head-to-head locally with a friend. Both players receive the same pieces, so it's pure skill that decides the winner.
Co-op – team up on a single shared, double-width board with a shared score. Each player sees their own next-piece preview, so you can plan together in real time.

Choose from 5 difficulty levels that control how many colors appear on the board (2 to 6). Fewer colors mean easier matches — more colors demand sharper strategy. As you play, the fall speed increases, tightening the window for each decision (Zen mode is the exception, with no speed progression).
