About the Game

Wren is invited by Yaroo the Wish-Granter to his magical mansion that is haunted by trapped spirits and cryptids. Yaroo offers Wren one free wish if she is able to complete the trials of the mansion through honing her telekinesis powers.  On her journey, Wren meets Finch and Crow, who are both uniquely gifted with their own supernatural abilities. As you explore, you encounter ghosts who are trapped in their own rooms that have taken form based on the spirit that haunts them.  Inside these rooms, you play through the spirit's memories and must find a way to free them to proceed on your journey.  Wren has a unique ability to move things with her mind, though her powers are un-honed and untrained. Yaroo sees her potential and seeks her out to take on his trials.

Gameplay:

  • Solving Puzzles

  • Camera Combat

  • Player Abilities

In GONERS, you will explore Yaroo's mansion. On your journey, you will encounter puzzles that require you to use each character's abilities to the fullest. Wren is a Telepath and can use her powers to move objects from far away. Finch is a Chronokinetic, meaning she is able to pause, rewind, and fast-forward time. Crow is a ghost, and can pass through objects, possess monsters, and can also turn off the power to objects.

As you explore, you will encounter many ghosts, some of whom are hostile. To take on these hostile ghosts, Wren uses her camera to trap the ghosts on the camera's film. Throughout the game, different types of spirits require various tactics to be defeated, and even some that are invulnerable and require the player to use stealth instead of combat.
