Gomoklear

Gomoklear is asymmetric Gomoku roguelike—connect five to clear the line and reshape the board. No more slow defensive stalemates: spawn, remove, transform… play pieces with unique powers and rack up lines before the Round Limit ends. Gomoku has never been this unpredictable.

About the Game

This is no longer the Gomoku (five in a row) you know.

Connect five. Clear the line. Break the board.

A Gomoku Line forms—pieces leave the board, the board reshapes, offense and defense flip. Clear again, rewrite again—without end…

Two actions per Round: you place two; your Rival places one.

A hundred-odd pieces with unique powers—spawn, remove, and move chaining across the board…

Gomoklear turns familiar Gomoku into a roguelike run where every move can reshape the board. Reach the Gomoku Line Target before the Round Limit runs out. Connect five and the involved pieces clear off the board. A solid defense can collapse in a single clear. Connecting five is not the end—it is the spark of a chain reaction that defines the whole match.

A New Rhythm of Play

Gone is rigid one-move-at-a-time play. Each Round, you get two Turns; your Rival gets one. You are always racing the Round Limit—the target climbs as you push deeper. Against your Rival's spawns, removals, shifts, and setups, every play is a call between pressing forward and holding the line.

Hundreds of Pieces, Each with Its Own Power

Your pieces are no longer just black and white. Spawn new pieces, remove key pieces, shift the layout, gain extra Turns, transform enemy pieces, take calculated risks, reshape Tiles with field effects… With over a hundred unique pieces, every play demands a fresh read of a shifting, unpredictable board.

Every Run, You Build

A single match is only the beginning. Wins earn new pieces; Serendipity offers hard choices; Manuscripts grant run-wide bonuses; the Stall sells what your Library needs. Match by match, your build takes shape through adaptation and improvisation.

Connecting five is not the end—it is the starting point of the next breakthrough.
