About the Game

Welcome, adventurer!

You have spent many moons completing quests, saving lives, slaying monsters, and returning exceptional goods to their rightful owner. After so long setting things right for others, you feel the call to settle down and relax, to find yourself a stable life, a place to call home, and beloved belongings of your very own.

Your previous life of crawling through dungeons and negotiating bounties has awakened your desire for digging through storage lots, finding what is of value, and building a fortune and a name for yourself by selling to the local traders.

Your fellow townsfolk welcome you, and are grateful for the fervent trade you wish to bring. Their town has recently been hit by a devastating earthquake, crumbling half the town. While building a new life for yourself, help the local townsfolk rebuild their town by completing quests and donating much-needed resources to their plight.

Current Features:

  • Lovingly crafted world for you to explore.

  • Bid at auction for tons of long-lost items, or maybe just some old junk, you decide.

  • Restore treasures to their maximum potential.

  • Haggle, barter and sell to various traders.

  • Each trader has their own preference of item type, and they're willing to pay extra to get it.

  • Build wealth to buy a variety of houses and vehicles.

  • Earn XP, level up and unlock better skills at the adventurer's guild.

  • Day/night cycle with auctions only available during the day.

Planned Features:

  • Quest system to help the townsfolk rebuild, with dynamic world changes to reflect their progress.

  • Decorate your house, either with items you find, or by paying the townsfolk.

  • Reputation system, with rewards from vendors and townsfolk who especially like you.

  • Steam achievements with in-game rewards.

  • Hundreds more items to discover!

  • Larger variety of auction types.

  • More houses and vehicles!

  • Customizable character.

  • And much, much more.

Note from the Dev

Thanks for checking out my game! I'm a solo-dev and this has been, and continues to be, my passion project for the past year. I've really loved creating Goblins and Garage Sales, and if you enjoy playing it even half as much as I enjoy making it, I'll consider that a HUGE success.

But wait, there's more! Here's one of my glowing reviews:

"Hmm." - Best Friend

Feedback is always welcome as I'm constantly looking for ways to improve it. There's lots more features planned, and I'm looking forward to sharing them with the community!
