About the Game

Gnomophobia is an unsettling escape-horror experience set in a themed forest split into distinct areas. You spawn with no direction except for scattered notes, each showing an image that reveals where the next clue is hidden. Following these notes is the only way to navigate the forest and find the way out.

But the forest is never safe.
Gnomes appear constantly, silently emerging around you. They freeze the moment you look at them—perfectly still, perfectly quiet. But the second you turn away, they rush toward you with unsettling speed. Every step you take, every clue you search for, every moment your back is turned gives them an opening.

Follow the clues.
Each note shows a simple image pointing to the next section of the forest. Study the picture, match it to your surroundings, and move to the area it represents. If you read the image right, you’ll find the next clue—and get one step closer to escaping.
