About This Game

Heroes aren't always born—sometimes, power awakens through beauty.

Glow up Hero is an anti-trope card-based roguelike tower-climbing game where "beauty is power" isn't just a slogan—it's the core mechanic. Recruit heroes inspired by real-world figures from history and contemporary life, assemble a squad of up to 4 heroes, and battle your way through towering floors with cunning card play. But the true game-changer lies in a transformation known as the "Glow Up"—a metamorphosis that redefines both looks and lethality.

⚔️ Core Gameplay: Card Crafting × Tower-Climbing Strategy

  • Hero Assembly – Collect hero cards based on real historical and modern figures. Each hero comes with signature gear and a unique deck.

  • Squad Formation – Deploy up to 4 heroes per battle. Team composition and skill synergies are the keys to victory.

  • Dual-Tier Decks – Each hero has 3 standard skill cards and 2 ultimate-limited cards. The limited cards are your ace moves—usable only once per battle, and once played, they're gone for good. Save them for the perfect moment.

  • Resource Management – Energy caps at 3 per turn, so every card played must count. Draw cards at the start of each turn; at turn's end, all unused cards are discarded without mercy—no hoarding, no second chances.

  • Basic Attacks Always Available – Even with an empty hand, every hero can still perform one basic attack per turn, keeping your tactical options alive.

🌸 Core Mechanism: The Glow Up = Power Evolution

This isn't just a cosmetic skin—it's a full-scale gameplay overhaul.

  • Triggering the Glow Up – Unlock the "Glow Up" state through specific in-game events, items, or conditions.

  • Visual Metamorphosis – Male heroes transform into stunning female forms; female heroes become even more radiant. Every Glow Up character is a brand-new visual experience.

  • Total Skill Enhancement – Once Glowed Up, all cards of that hero (both the 3 standard and 2 limited ones) receive substantial upgrades: increased damage, reduced energy costs, expanded effects, and better synergies. One card, two lives—the Glow Up changes everything about how you play.

📖 Mirror of Reality

Every hero and every enemy in the game is drawn from real-world individuals. Card descriptions and character backgrounds come with verifiable sources, allowing you to engage in a dialogue with history, culture, and real human stories—even as you scheme your way up the tower.

🎯 Perfect for Players Who:

  • Love deep card strategy and tight resource management

  • Enjoy character evolution and visual transformation mechanics

  • Can't resist anti-trope twists and narrative Easter eggs

Beauty is justice? No—beauty is power.
