About the Game

Gilgamesh and the Tree of Life is a 3D action platformer where you take control of the legendary titular hero and his feisty canine-like companion Enkidu. The pair must defend the many cities and tribes of Beth Nahrain from undead demons and divine beings as they try to find the scattered Leaves of the Tree of Life. Platform and fight your way through unique levels—each inspired by Mesopotamian history and mythology—in this love letter to the classics of the 3D platformer genre.

Master Gilgamesh's acrobatic skills as you run, jump, dash, and swing through a variety of platforming challenges. Unlock new abilities to overcome even greater obstacles and explore deeper levels!

Explore the cradle of civilisation

Liberate the land of Beth Nahrain—from its bustling cities to enchanted forests, from the depths below to the heavens above. Encounter and assist a cast of unique characters as you explore the world and free it from the grip of a wrathful god and their minions.

With Gilgamesh’s blade and Enkidu’s unique powers, the duo are prepared to face whatever the underworld throws their way. Each enemy presents a different challenge—master the right moves to overcome them. Grow stronger as you advance, and unlock new abilities for Enkidu along the journey! Explore Beth Nahrain and collect Leaves of the Tree of Life through combat, exploration, and mini-games. Each Leaf holds divine power—gather enough to unlock new levels. Restore Tablet Pieces to strengthen Gilgamesh, and find Coins to purchase outfits. Hidden treasures are everywhere—if you know where to look.
