About the Game

GIFT from GOD is a story-driven visual novel told from two perspectives: the protagonist, Ryosuke Nikaido, and the heroine, Akane Yamamoto.

Players read through the story, make choices, and watch over the relationships and destinies of the characters.

The story branches depending on the player’s choices, leading to multiple endings.

■ The Protagonist’s Story

“You’re dead.”

When he opens his eyes, Kazuyuki Yagami finds himself in a pure white world where even the boundaries of the space around him are impossible to tell.

Standing before the bewildered Kazuyuki is Adan, a being who calls himself God.

Adan tells him an abrupt and unbelievable truth: Kazuyuki had taken his own life.

However, he is given a second chance.

He must return to the living world as another man, Ryosuke Nikaido, and complete the “three missions” assigned to him by Adan.

Thus begins a new life he can barely understand.

Together with SHINGO, a mysterious man who claims to be his attendant, Kazuyuki takes on the missions. Along the way, he comes to know love, friendship, and the truth behind his own death.

Why did he choose to die?

What choice will he make at the end of his second life?

And what, truly, is the “gift” from God?

■ The Heroine’s Story

Akane Yamamoto is a bright, positive girl who always gives her best.

One day, she meets Ryosuke Nikaido, a mysterious superior who suddenly returns to the Planning Department.

He is cold and strange, yet somehow impossible to ignore.

As Akane works with Nikaido, she gradually finds herself drawn to him.

However, she cannot be honest about her feelings.

By Akane’s side is her best friend, Natsuki Ohara, who always gives her a push when she is unsure.

Cheerful and playful, Natsuki wishes for Akane’s happiness more than anyone else.

But she, too, carries a secret she cannot tell Akane.

As the distance between Akane and Nikaido grows closer, Akane eventually comes face to face with the pain she has kept hidden deep in her heart.

Love and friendship. And the meaning of living.

This is a story that reminds you of the courage to tell someone important how you truly feel.
