The year is 745 KC. In the wake of a war that left countless dead, it now threatens to make the largest galactic power starve. Take the role of CO Kolt and lead the shamed 1414th Midnight Mariners to colonize a world on the outer rim in a mix of real time strategy and visual novel. Set up food production to keep the empire from starvation and revolt. Gain allies and try to avert all hell from breaking loose in the main story mode.

In the RTS mode: Construct cities by dropping buildings from orbit. Every building serves a different purpose. Some affect the economy, others grant you research, and a few allow you to recruit new troops. Many buildings will increase in effectiveness the longer they exist. A Housing Prefab will gain more residents over time, meaning they pay you more taxes. The older your city, the more effective it becomes.
However, there are threats to your city. Hungry Cannibals, raiding Crocodiles, and things far more eldritch. Cultists may gather in your cities and pray to forbidden gods, entities of cosmic horror proportions. Raise your troops, and crush those who would bring violence against you. From the humble Light Infantryman to the dreaded Lutor Supersoldier, you command them all.

In the Visual Novel mode: Talk to a wide cast of characters for a wide array of reasons. As the main story unfolds, more actors reveal themselves, and either face you, or evade you. Consult with your Command Squad to resolve issues. Date a brain in a jar.
Schedule meetings to advance character storylines. No one will fall in love with you on first sight(Being that you're a faceless goon in a gas mask), but give it some time, and maybe love will blossom. Hanging around the new kingmaker may also hurt them, however...
Throughout 11 levels, see the story unfold. Try to piece together the global situation of a foreign world at war. Some will lie to you, even your own people. Everyone will want you to conquer their foes. Ultimately, try to uncover the greater scheme unfolding in the midst of your war.
If war is hell, what will come if you fail?
