The game features classic RPG elements where you engage in turn-based combat. Upgrade your combat skills, practice QTE combat, as well as engage in mini games where you exorcise spirits for extra cash. Use cash and donate in church to earn Faith, which can upgrade your skills. Or go to work at your minimal pay job.

Buy and cook meals for yourself and as offerings for the ghost. This gifting mechanic is crucial in building your relationship with her. You'll need to manage your stats, such as Mind, Body, and Spirit, which you can leverage to your advantage in combat. These stats are affected by working or by actions you take, and can be recovered by various activities, such as eating and sleeping.
