Ghost Hunting Journal

Ghost Hunting Journal is a story-driven adventure game set in Jiangcheng, a fictional metropolis in China.
The protagonists are an unusual pair of paranormal agents. Despite their completely opposite personalities, they work together with remarkable chemistry, each possessing their own unique abilities. They specialize in taking on all kinds of supernatural cases.
Throughout the game, players will switch between the two protagonists and embark on a one-of-a-kind ghost-hunting adventure filled with terrifying screams, playful banter, and unexpected encounters.



After death, souls are supposed to be collected by Heaven and given the opportunity to enter the cycle of reincarnation. However, some souls remain bound by the obsessions they held in life, choosing to abandon reincarnation and linger in the human world.
These spirits are known as “Nail Souls,” and they are the source of countless paranormal stories and urban legends.



We tell this ghost-hunting story through an exaggerated and playful anime-inspired style.
The characters are not simply there to scare you. Each has their own personality, emotions, personal struggles, and comedic quirks, bringing a little more absurdity—and a little more humanity—to every supernatural incident.



Players will switch between the two protagonists.
They possess different abilities and approach problems in different ways. You will need to make use of their strengths during investigations, conversations, and action sequences, helping them work together to complete a variety of supernatural assignments.



Craft your own ghost-hunting tools, search crime scenes for clues, analyze abnormal phenomena, and escape from pursuing Nail Souls.
You can also travel by light rail to different parts of the city, speak with local NPCs, and experience the distinctive scenery and everyday lives found throughout a Chinese mountain city.
