About the Game

GEKOKUJO: Vagrant Crown is a Living World RPG where you travel through a living, ever-changing fantasy world.

Begin your journey as a lone traveler in a medieval high fantasy setting. Explore villages, forests, rivers, and ancient roads while encountering monsters, bandits, merchants, and adventurers throughout your adventure.

The people of this world are more than quest givers. NPCs have their own daily routines, occupations, goals, and relationships. Villagers work, merchants travel between towns, adventurers explore dangerous areas, and events gradually shape the world around you.

Combat takes place seamlessly on the field without loading into a separate battle screen. Explore, engage enemies, defeat them, and continue your journey without breaking immersion.

During the tutorial, you begin your adventure alongside a wolf companion. As development continues, additional companions, jobs, equipment, regions, quests, and gameplay systems will become available.

The demo allows players to experience the core gameplay of GEKOKUJO within the Northern Forest Region, including exploration, NPC interaction, seamless combat, quests, and save/load functionality.

The full release is planned to greatly expand the world with new regions, professions, companions, monsters, events, and ultimately a living world inhabited by more than 1,000 NPCs.
