The sun has vanished, and darkness corrodes the world. Great sages rise to reclaim the sun, only to meet their demise.
In the midst of this chaos, an angel named Helvetica is summoned. She claims to be "an angel that surpasses even the gods" and initially repels the distorted sun goddess. However, in order to restore the sun, she must capture the goddess. The goddess curses her, causing her to lose all her powers and preventing her from returning to her original world.
Helvetica embarks on a never-ending adventure with a diverse group of companions she meets along the way, with the goal of saving the world.
