Gata Guressi is a sci-fi translation game where you learn to communicate with the people of the Hierre system by translating their languages and understanding their cultures. Build your knowledge of Hierre's history, culture, and planets, then put it to use to solve the mysterious disappearance of your brother and sell a rare resource to the rich patrons of Kallay Tirridor.

Use your translator to learn the dictionaries, worldviews, and cultures of 11 languages used by the peoples of Hierre. Dialogue will challenge you with foreign concepts and references; you'll need to understand the cultures and planets of Hierre to leverage your sales pitches, catch hidden meanings, and find your brother.

Kallay Tirridor, an upscale bar-turned-trade-port, hosts a variety of demographics from around the system: local Voenni, high-class patrons, tourists from other planets, and traders looking for any opportunity to make a quick buck. Kallay Tirridor isn't a massive place, and visitors usually don't come alone; how you respond to different situations may affect you later on.

You've brought a shipment of a valuable resource called ielsek to Kallay Tirridor, but to make sales, you'll need to understand how your potential customers speak and think. Your background as a Guressi (someone from the exiled planet of Guressen) may complicate sales and lead to unsavory interactions.
