About the Game

UPDATE!

In response to the many questions we've received, we're adding:

a couch co-op mode

where one player controls the brother on the bottom (responsible for movement and locomotion), and the other takes on the role of the upper brother (combat and interactions) – for an even more immersive, chaotic, and fun experience.

What is Gargantuic?

Roll, fight, and improvise your way through a monster-infested medieval valley in this unconventional action-adventure.

Two partially paralyzed brothers set off on a dangerous journey to reclaim their homeland from a plague of monsters. Sharing a handmade cart as their only means of movement, they must rely on each other to survive – one brother steers, the other fights. What begins with a simple wheelbarrow and a pitchfork slowly evolves into a war machine, as the player explores, collects, and upgrades his ride into everything from a rickshaw to a chariot... or even a catapult or a drakkar.

But it’s not just about survival – it’s personal.
Driven by the disappearance of their grandfather and the ruins left in the wake of the invasion, the brothers set out not only to fight monsters, but to rebuild the land, and uncover the mystery behind what tore their family – and their home – apart.

Gameplay is all about freedom and fun.

There’s no “right” way to play – just tools, physics, and pure momentum. Whether you charge head-on or roll your way through hidden paths, you choose how to move, how to fight, and how far to push your creativity.

Along the way, you’ll find a wide variety of throwable weapons and melee tools to combine in two distinct combat styles: melee and ranged.

Collect powerful helmets that not only make you look like a legend, but also grant bonuses. With a bit of cunning, you might even discover the mythical ornithopter, unlocking the ability to glide through the air and reach otherwise inaccessible places.
