In the summer of 1992, bored teen Vera Novak is tinkering with her homebrew HAM radio when she makes brief contact with cosmonaut Oleg Sergeev. It’s the first in a strange series of events that will force her to re-examine her lone-wolf outlook on life.
In Gap Year, the story unfolds as you explore Vera’s apartment, which is presented in comic book panels that expand, contract and re-orient themselves as you explore the space. You’ll revisit the apartment four times throughout the course of a year, seeing changes in the environment reflect the passage of time between the game’s four seasonal acts.
