About the Game

A retro pixel arcade-style collection game for those who appreciate FROGS!

The "Zonama Rainforest" habitat of the "Frog Up!" game, a lush jungle pond with a giant lily pad at the center.

Starting with just your own lovely backyard lily pond, you will collect data on many different types & rarities of frogs and earn Frogbucks in the process.

The "Lily Pond" habitat for the "Frog Up!" game, with a few different frogs hopping around a small but active pond. "Session" and "Frogbucks" scores are displayed at the top, with arrows to either side to move habitats.

Spend those sweet, sweet Frogbucks at Patches' shop in his shrubby frog hollow in order to get new items for your lily pond, or endeavor to complete the Frog Wizard's quests at the Magic Frog Altar to unlock new habitats and upgrades!

Once you've traveled to all of the new habitat ecosystems, you can attempt to complete the Frog Log, a journal which records all of your frog data collection in one easy-to-access list. Or you can just read a bit more about the frogs you have so carefully studied!

Frog Up! features real frogs & toads of the Anura genus, as well as some specially-labeled fantastical species, too. The game encourages thoughtful respect for our amphibious friends -- WE NEVER BOTHER A FROG IN THE WILD!

This game is simple & straightforward; the few graphical assets utilized, as well as the background music, were hand-made by yours truly, the game's developer. Frog Up! is both lightweight and relaxing to play.
