"Is this the afterlife?"
"No, a true miracle has occurred. Time has rewound."
FoldLoop is a Lovecraftian-style logic deduction game. You play as Raymond, a Miskatonic University teaching assistant trapped in a death loop. Within the mental realm, you and the witch Aurora must analyze abstracted death scenarios—represented as sandbox dioramas and chess pieces—to escape the fate of being consumed by the unfolding events.
The game features a "Sandbox Deduction" mechanic: Each level presents multiple dynamic chessboards documenting looped incidents, with piece identities concealed by codes. By cross-referencing variations across loops, combining rulebooks and clues, and applying elimination methods and Sudoku-style logic matrices, players must pinpoint each piece's true role and identity.
