The game is 1 vs (2-6) where one player takes on the role of the beast Farberto, and the other players play as humans trying to escape. Farberto has an extremely strong sense of smell and that allows him an advantage when it comes to hunting down the players. The players must use their heads and various items they find, such as Flashbangs, Bear Traps and Bottles of Urine to blind, trap, and distract Farberto. AI can be turned on for Farberto and human bots if players want a real challenge or wish to play by themselves.
Track and chase your friends!
Scent plays a key role in Foglight Online. Every player gives off a scent that Farberto can smell. But you can use this to your advantage. Create distractions or plan traps by throwing scented bottles of urine decoys.
Hide or Fight!
As humans, the players must work together to hide or fight back against Farberto. Each map has objectives that must be reached to win. Team work is key.
Humans
The human players will spawn on the opposite side of the map from Farberto. This will give the humans some time to collect items and get a game plan together. Each map has 4 electric breaker boxes that, when turned on, will open an exit gate. The humans also have the option to find fuel for a flamethrower, which can be used to destroy Farberto.
Farberto
The Legend of Farberto. The hibernating creature that comes out to feast on man. Playing as Farberto is a complete power trip. He can destroy his environment. smashing through lite structures, such as wood fences. He has a smell ability that acts like a super night vision. This will allow the player to quickly locate other players during a match. He can also mute the scary music that plays when he approaches other players to allow stealthy attack. Farbertos health will slowly regenerate over time, making him one tough cookie to kill.
