FLOPPY SURVIVORS is a bullet heaven roguelite about one tiny floppy disk against an entire corrupted network. Stack auto-firing antivirus weapons, survive endless malware hordes, complete recovery jobs, and fuse pairs into devastating DUAL weapons.

You're DISK #47, and the network wants you deleted. The question is... why?

Deleting malware is just survival; repairing the system is your true objective. Completing tasks visually restores the battlefield and grants massive upgrades:

• Stabilize damaged sectors.
  
• Close numbered ports.
  
• Seal quarantine nodes.

Survive long enough to delete all 10 bosses, then hold the FINAL DEFRAG core for 60 seconds to win.

Inventory space is tight, but fusion is your way out. Upgrade two programs to Lv. 5 to fuse them into a massive DUAL weapon, freeing up a slot for even more firepower. Experiment with combinations, discover the hidden synergies, and save every successful build into your permanent DUAL.DAT archive.

Deleting a boss cracks open its cache, rewarding you with one POWER DRIVER and two instant skill upgrades. Customize your build on the fly:

DECRYPT THE MYSTERY

Defeating bosses across all difficulties unlocks 30 unique INTERCEPT signals. Every victory permanently strengthens your build while piecing together another fragment of the story.

SAVE YOUR PROGRESS IN RECOVERY.DIR

Levels and equipment wipe when you reboot, but your discoveries are permanent. Log system files, DUAL records, and restored sectors into your archive. Every two records permanently boost your max HP, while collecting boot disks and completing operations unlocks entirely new starting builds.

FOLLOW THE SIGNAL

Escalate the threat. Clearing an act unlocks higher difficulties and traces of new signals. Recover all 52 archive records and 30 signals to verify MASTER.IMG and unlock the LAST BOOT, a finale you must execute yourself.

ENDLESS ON YOUR TERMS

Dive straight into ENDLESS mode after the Main Recovery. Your ENDLESS.LOG auto-saves extension time, deletions, and recovered data every 30 seconds. When your system can't take any more, safely retire via the pause menu and review your personal bests on the WRITE VERIFIED results screen.

THE WHOLE GAME FITS ON A FLOPPY

The entire Windows executable, including the full game and all 15 code-synth tracks, clocks in under the capacity of a single 1.44 MB floppy disk. Visuals, effects, and music are procedurally generated at runtime from raw code and compact data tables instead of bloated media files.
