About the Game

Flank Speed is a top down 3D arcade space shooter, based on the simple graphics and gameplay of early 90s computer games. Take control of different classes of combat ships and fight against unrelenting alien enemies in a survival scenario. Uncover what these otherworldly beings are planning and put a stop to it through the story mode. With Newtonian controls, different navigation tools, and aspects of navy capital ship combat, Flank Speed offers a simple yet engaging gameplay experience.

The design and style is heavily based on 90s and early 2000s arcade games. Trying to capture the feel of those early pickup and play games. You won’t find a super complex management system, no super detailed photo realistic textures, or complex cosmetics and loot boxes. What you will find is a good old fashion arcade experience, crafted with love for the sake of entertainment.
