About the Game

John is spending another quiet monthly shift inside ZUCH, an automated flak machine protecting a factory in rural New Zealand. The machine normally identifies and destroys incoming drones without human involvement. John is only there to supervise - until an unusual request forces him to make a decision the system will not forget.

Flak Duty is a short, linear science-fiction visual novel told through illustrated filmstrip-style pages. There are no combat sections, puzzles, or branching choices. Progress through the story at your own pace, move backward and forward between pages, hide the text to view the artwork, and adjust the presentation for comfortable reading.
