About the Game

Fishyphus is a horror fishing roguelite which rewards careful navigation, quick reflexes, and persistence. It's best experienced with a gamepad and headphones.

Sail the waves

Take command of a fishing vessel with momentum-based physics controls. Sail endlessly in any direction across abstract, colorful, and relaxing ocean waves.

Catch the fish

Track fish by their mesmerizing songs. Drop anchor and fish with a single button. The reflex-based fishing minigame is easy to learn—yet hard to perfect.

Battle the reaper

Beware the certain death which lurks beneath! Catch fish to awaken it, stun it, and strengthen its resolve. Only through death will you survive longer.

An accessible experience

Fishyphus provides a tutorial, high visual contrast, binaural audio cues, haptic feedback, adjustable difficulty settings, and screen reader support. Its graphics can be toggled off to be enjoyed with audio alone.
