Worldview Background

In the convergence of the Nine Realms known as the "Midgard Rift," a war that shattered a thousand-year balance is raging. The Valkyries of Norse legend—once Odin's chosen guides of fallen warriors—now find themselves locked in a desperate battle against an infernal legion pouring forth from the abyss, as the prophecy of Ragnarök manifests prematurely.

Leading this demonic onslaught is Loki Shadowflame, a fallen god who has stolen the roots of Yggdrasil, the World Tree, and infused the creatures of the underworld with forbidden chaos magic, transforming them into light-devouring "Eclipseborn."

And you—an unnamed champion summoned by the Valkyrie Queen Brynhildr with her dying divine power—are the key to turning the tide of war…
