About the Game

wu xing qi

A Multiplayer Strategy Game Combining Intelligence and Luck
Supports 2-4 players, integrating traditional Gomoku gameplay with the five Chinese elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth).

Game Features

  • Core Elements: Five fundamental elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth)

  • Card Composition:

    • Single-element Cards: 5 types, 10 cards each, 50 cards total

    • Dual-element Cards: 10 types (e.g., Metal+Wood, Metal+Water), 10 cards each, 100 cards total

    • Four-element Cards: 5 types (e.g., Metal+Wood+Water+Fire), 10 cards each, 50 cards total

Game Mechanics

  • Element Assignment: Each player is randomly assigned a unique element (no duplicates), kept secret initially.

  • Card Acquisition: Each player starts with 3 cards per game (temporarily set at 3, subject to adjustment in future updates).

  • Turn Rules: Play 1 card per turn and place it anywhere on the board.

  • Victory Conditions:

    • Connect five elements in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) to win.

    • If multiple elements connect five simultaneously, the player who played their card last in the current turn wins.

  • Strategic Goals: Build your own element connections while blocking opponents.

Future Updates

1. Skill Card System
New cards with special effects (e.g., remove opponent's pieces, swap elements).

2. Multiple Game Modes
Pure element card mode, mixed element+skill mode, timed battles, etc.
