In a hasty misstep and with a careless attempt at a new potion, you, Henric the town alchemist, led your own love toward an unconscious state. Alas upon brewing a cure, you falter and see Death before you– but your time is far from up. You've stolen Death’s scythe in an attempt to cheat your fate. Now you must escape Purgatory by brewing combo-building potions and reaping hordes of creatures in this hack and slash Roguelike!

Explore the Depths of Purgatory

Purgatory is made up of a series of islands all connected by time-bending portals. Home to more than just Death herself, Purgatory bears residence to a wide array of bizarre and oh-so-hungry creatures ready for their next meal.

Collect Strange Brewables and Create Combo-Building Elixirs

Purgatory is likewise home to a variety of herbs, critter remains, and unsettling items. Collect these mysterious ingredients, mix in uniquely shaped bottles, and reap the Souls of the Damned to assist in your expedition through Purgatory.

Interact with the Curiously Cozy

Beyond the feasting, beasting monsters Purgatory is home to, a curiously cozy crow named John seems to have made the best of a rather dark and dreary situation. Whether you trade ingredients at John’s Wicked Wares or simply stop for a wee rest, John would absolutely adore your company… and business!

After you’ve slayed hordes of creatures and brewed your final concoctions, a new island of Purgatory will present itself. Will you be strong enough to escape through the Gates of Purgatory and revive your love once and for all?
